Ronnie Ray Hattaway, Sr., age 61 of Vidalia died Tuesday, January 10, 2012.

Mr. Hattaway was born in Washington County and was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Hattaway,
Sr., and Orita Wood Hattaway.  He was retired from Horton’s Collision Center, Vidalia.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Gillis Hattaway; sons, Ronnie Ray Hattaway, Jr., Donnie Hattaway, and Brad Hattaway, of Vidalia, and Kevin Manning, Soperton; sisters, Teresa Sikes, SC, Dell Strickland, Vidalia, and Lynn Britt, FL; brothers, Jerry Hattaway, Sr., Alston, Andy Hattaway, SC, and Bobby Hattaway, Vidalia; fifteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.  Sammons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
