Mr. Albert B. White, Sr., age 73, of Soperton died Wednesday, August 17, 2016.

Mr. White was a lifelong resident of Treutlen County and was preceded in death by his parents, Hardy and Minnie Allen White, brothers, Junior White, Bob White, and David White, and sister, Christine Foskey. He was retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation and was a member of Snowhill Community Church, Glenwood.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Toler White; children, Angie (Kevin) Connell of Glenwood, Albert (Kim) White, Jr. of Vidalia, Terry (Allie) White of Virginia Beach, VA, Christopher White of Soperton, and Beth Ann White of Dublin; daughter-in-law, Melynda Moxley of Soperton; twelve grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Johnnie Merle Chafin and Helen White; brothers, Arthur White, Truman White, Jerry White, Rayford White, and Roy Gene White; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held in Snowhill Community Church at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 20, with Reverend Albert White, Jr. and Reverend W. R. Connell officiating. Burial will be in Snowhill Community Church Cemetery, with Sammons Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends at funeral home Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and may be reached at the family residence, 1040 Williams Street, Soperton.
