Mrs. Alene S. Henry, age 90, of Soperton died Thursday, August 31, 2017.

Mrs. Henry was a lifelong resident of Treutlen County and was preceded in death by her parents, Pid and Della Sharpe, her husband of sixty years, Wilburn Henry, son, Mitchell Henry, granddaughter, Kristen Woodard, and brother, Bill Sharpe.  She was a homemaker and was a member of Holton Chapel Advent Christian Church, Treutlen County.

Survivors include her children, Randy Henry of Lake Wales, FL, Larry (Shirley) Henry, Terry Henry, Tim Henry, Garry (Marilyn) Henry, Glenda (Hyman) Bush, Angie (Joe) Henry, and Sharon Henry, all of Soperton; fifteen grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren; sister, Ethel Beasley of Soperton; brothers, Buddy (Velma) Sharpe and Romie (Vivian) Sharpe, all of Lake Wales, FL;  several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held in Holton Chapel Advent Christian Church at 2 o'clock Sunday, September 3, with Reverend Morris Brantley officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery with Sammons Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Tony Bush, Tommy Bush, Jason Edge, Brandon Bush, Dustin Hughes, and Kanen Bush.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. and may be reached at the family residence.
