Mr. Alton "Eoot" Lampp, age 66, beloved husband of Regina Ann Clements Lampp of the Lothair Community of Soperton, Georgia passed away on Monday evening, January 22, 2024 at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin.

Born in Soperton, he was the youngest son of eight children born to the late Ralph Robert Lampp and Jessie Mae Geiger Lampp.  He attended school in Treutlen County before launching a longtime career in construction.  His first job was with Plant Vogtle in Augusta as a Crane Operator.  Through the years, he worked with various companies and in various capacities until retiring as a Superintendent.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, gardening, coon and hog hunting, raising horses, architecting useful work devices, watching westerns and the animal channel.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Elijah Lampp, a daughter, Ashley Lampp and siblings, Robert Ray Lampp, Bill Lampp, Buck Lampp and Margie Lampp.

Mr. "Eoot" leaves behind: his wife, Regina Clements Lampp, Soperton, GA, their daughter, Brittany Melanie Lampp, Lexington, KY, their son, Stormie Weathers Lampp, Soperton, three sisters, Carolyn Ricks, Soperton, GA, Thelma Mosley (Wayne), Uvalda, GA, Judy Knight (Carl), Soperton and his special canine companion and friend, Abby.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 26, 2024 in the Williams Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home with Keith Clements and Carl Knight officiating.

Mr. Lampp will be laid to rest in the Rosemont Baptist Church Cemetery.

Serving as active pallbearers will be: Anthony Mosley, Jason Mosley, Jimmy Clements, Brad Clements, Brian Clements and Frankie Wade.

Serving as honorary escorts will be Robbie Hooks, Baron Mosley, Brad Kelly and Dillon Manring.

His family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
