It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Amanda Nicole Way Giles.   At the young age of  36, she left her earthly her home on Thursday evening, August 15, 2024.

Born in Augusta, Georgia she was the eldest of two children born to Tommy Way and Samantha Bazemore Way.  She was a 2006 graduate of Johnson County High School where she played the french horn in the band and was the lead majorette.  After high school, she attended Swainsboro Technical College and studied Cosmetology.

A lifelong resident of Johnson and Emanuel counties; Amanda had worked in patient registration at the Emanuel County Hospital in Swainsboro and as a Sales Associate with Dollar General in Oak Park.

She enjoyed singing (spontaneously), fishing, hunting for artifacts and making people laugh.

Amanda had attended the Holton Chapel Advent Christian Church.

She is preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Martha Way.

Left to cherish her memories are: her three sons, Dylan Giles, Bailey "Bubba" Giles, Corey "Pete", Giles, all of Swainsboro, GA, her mother, Samanatha Way Nobles, Adrian, GA, her father, Tommy Way (Robin), Emanuel County, GA, her paternal grandfather, Gibson Way, Swainsboro, GA, siblings, Chris Way (Tiffany), Kite, GA, Steven Way (Hannah), Adrian, GA, Kayla Way, Dellwood, GA and many other extended loving family members and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 o'clock p. m. on Sunday, August 18, 2024 at the Holton Chapel Advent Christian Church, Soperton, Georgia with Pastor Morris Brantley officiating.

Amanda will be laid to rest in the Holton Chapel Church Cemetery.

Her family will receive friends at the church, on Sunday, from 2:00 o'clock p.m. until the hour of service.
