Mrs. Annie M. Horne, age 78, of Soperton died Monday, December 26, 2016.

Mrs. Horne was born in Joanna, SC and lived most of her life in Lithia, FL before retiring to Soperton sixteen years ago.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Judson and Edith Taylor Lee, her husband, Edgar L. "Roy" Horne, and a brother, Jay W. Lee.  She was a retired bus driver with the Hillsborough County Board of Education. She attended Blackville Church of God.

Survivors include a son, Eric Todd (Susan) Horne of Lithia, FL; stepson, Mike (Kay) Horne of Mt. Vernon; sister, Margaret (Andrew) Esposito of Springhill, FL; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be held in the Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 3, with Reverend Conway Jones officiating. Burial will be in Fowler Cemetery, Treutlen County.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 6 to 8 p.m.
