Master Ashton Luca Mariano Childs, son of Steve Mariano and Felecia Childs and grandson of Ron and Carol Newsome Winters left this earth with the angels late in the evening on Friday, May 6, 2022, after a months long battle with cardiac and pulmonary issues since his birth.

He was a fighter but the battle became more than he could endure.  He will be missed by his family as well as his doctors, nurses and the other caregivers that fought just as hard for him as he did.

He will be laid to rest in the Newsome family lot in Tarrytown Cemetery.
