Mrs. Barbara Ann Conner, age 68, of Soperton died Sunday, February 5, 2017.

Mrs. Conner was a native of Du Quoin, IL and grew up in Ashley, IL.  She lived in Titusville and Cocoa, FL before moving to Soperton in 1985.  She was preceded in death by her father, J.B. Siddens, and her husband, William Aaron Conner.  She was retired from Wheeler County Correctional Facility, Alamo, and was of the United Methodist faith.

Survivors include two sons, Johnny (Sherry) Conner of Soperton and Shane (Kurtis Purtee) Conner of Savannah; grandchildren, Cameron Conner of Johnson Corner and Erica Conner of Reidsville; her mother, Dorothy Siddens of Soperton; brother, Jimmy Siddens of Titusville; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held in the Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 8, with the Reverend Paul Mulling officiating.  Burial will be in Westview Cemetery, Soperton.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
