Bobbie Faye Chafin Poole, age 62, formerly of Soperton passed away Tuesday evening, February 23, 2021 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro, Georgia.

Born in Rockledge, she was one of seven children born to the late Rase and Iva Mae Chafin.  She was a lifelong resident of the Treutlen County area and had worked as a Machine Operator at Roydonwear and Woolrich.  Bobbie Faye later worked with Easter Seals as a Product Inspector until retiring in the early 2000's.  She was an avid Elvis fan and memorabilia collector and she enjoyed flower gardening and keeping her house clean.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lester Wyman Poole, a son, Phillip Lester Poole and her siblings, Joyce, Roy, Tommy, Paul and Patricia.

She leaves behind her daughter, April Smith (Alexander), Statesboro, GA, a brother, Donnie Chafin (Lynn), Dublin, GA, a brother in law, Trellis Peeples, Orianna, a special friend and her son in law's mother, Georgia Davis, Statesboro, GA, three grandchildren, Marcus Smith (Chalaiya), Jazmine Smith, Camille Smith and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Poole was laid to rest at 11:00 am on Thursday, February 25, 2021, beside her husband, in Holton Chapel Cemetery.
