Mrs. Carolyn Suzanne Humphrey, age 84 of the Santa Claus Community of Toombs County passed away on Monday morning, July 5, 2021 at Meadows Regional Hospital in Vidalia.

Born in Tatnell County, she was one of five children born to the late Charlton T. and Dora Callaway Cox.  She grew up in the Reidsville and Collins Community where she attended the public school system.

Mrs. Humphrey had worked at the Dairy Queen in Vidalia for many years before retiring.   She and her husband have made the Santa Claus Community their home since 2005.

She leaves behind, her husband of over fifty years, Forris E. Humphrey, all of her biological siblings and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 8, 2021 from the graveside in Mt Vernon Cemetery, Mt. Vernon, GA.
