Mrs. Catherine Joyce Howard Horne, age 67 of Soperton passed away on Friday evening, April 2, 2021 in Mt. Vernon.

Born in Columbia, South Carolina; she was raised by her grandparents, W. C. and Zelda Mae Howard.  She had been a longtime resident of Treutlen County prior to a recent move to Mt. Vernon.

She leaves behind, her husband, Michael Horne, Nicholls, GA, children, Rachel Coggins, Atlanta, GA, Elizabeth Horne, Statesboro, GA, Michael Eric Horne, Mt. Vernon, GA, siblings, Neva Patricia Johnson (Dale)Gordon, GA, Connie Susan Ewing (Paul), Sylvania, GA, Cecil James "Jimmy" Howard (Deidra), Macon, GA and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
