Mr. Charles Allen Cartwright, age 85 of Soperton, passed away on Monday morning, November 15, 2021 at the Treutlen County Health and Rehabilitation Center in Soperton.

Born in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan he was the son of the late Charles and Ann Payment Cartwright.  He had worked as a Snow Plow Operator for Chippewa County until retiring in the early 1990s.  He lived in Florida for a short time before settling in Soperton in the late 1990s.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Gerald Cartwright.

He leaves behind, his longtime companion, Joyce Hayes, Soperton, GA, a son, Keith Cartwright, Jefferson, TX, siblings, Bobby Cartwright, Harold Cartwright and Kitty Cartwright, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Friday, November 19, 2021 from the graveside in Red Bluff Cemetery with Reverend Milton Thomas officiating.

His family will receive friends on Friday, at the graveside, from 1:00 pm until the hour of the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Red Bluff Baptist Church, Red Bluff Church Rd, Soperton, GA  30457
