Mr. Charles Everett "Charlie" Moore Sr., age 78 of Tarrytown passed away Tuesday morning, August 10, 2021 at the Treutlen County Health and Rehabilitation Center in Soperton.

Born in Clifton, VA he was one of seven children born to the late John Estel and Mary Magdaline Macabee Moore.  Mr. Moore grew up and attended school in Clifton.  As an adult he owned C & L Construction Company in Woodbridge, VA.  In 1990 he bought a farm and moved to the Shenandoah Valley where he lived until moving to Tarrytown, GA in 2017.

Mr. Moore enjoyed farming, growing hay and raising Tennessee Walking horses and cows.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Charles E. Moore Jr. "Chuckie" and three brothers, George, Richard and Gary Moore.

Mr. Moore leaves behind his wife, Linda Moore, Tarrytown, GA, two sons, John T. Moore (Janet), Stephens City, VA, Phillip H. Moore, Staunton, VA, a daughter, Deborah Keene (Kevin), Belington, WV, two brothers, Bill Moore (Jan), Tarrytown, GA, John Moore (Shirley), Wayne, WV, a sister, MaryAnn Olinger (Harry), Williamsburg, VA, grandchildren, Charlie, Tom, Lauren, John, Faith, Kayla and Chuckie, three great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held in Staunton, VA as Mr. Moore is laid to rest beside his son in Union Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Churchville, Virginia
