Mr. Charles S. "Chuck" Jacobs, age 80, of Dublin died Friday, June 24, 2016.

Mr. Jacobs was born in Dorr, MI, and was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Samuel and Pearl Jacobs, and his sister, Betty Folkerson. He was retired after twenty-three years of service with the US Navy where he served during the Vietnam War. He was also retired from Insurance World, Jacksonville, FL and attended Marie Baptist Church, Dublin.

Survivors include his wife, Beverly Loyless Jacobs; children, Suzette Valenti of Roaring Gap, NC, Chris Jacobs of Valrico, FL, Craig Jacobs of Eatonton, Evette Baker of Hernando, FL, Reverend Curt Lysaker of Dublin, and Reverend Charles Lysaker of Virginia Beach, VA; sister, Mary Gray of Pennsylvania; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held in the Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Monday, June 27, with the Reverend Curt Lysaker officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday thirty minutes prior to the service.
