Mr. Charles Morrison, age 56, of Adrian died Sunday, September 3, 2017.

Mr. Morrison was born in Emanuel County and was preceded in death by his parents, Milton "Bill" Morrison and Betty Lumpkin Morrison, and niece, Mandy Morrison.  He was a truck driver with Catchem Trucking, East Dublin.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Edge Morrison; children, Crystal (Kimberly White) Morrison, Charles Wesley Morrison, all of Uvalda, Shanna (James) Stewart of Newington, Jennifer (Michael) Rogers, Christy Edge, and Scarlett (Chad) Hester, all of Soperton; grandchildren, Noah Morrison, Willow Morrison, Riley Galbreath, Emily Stewart, Zaylee Morrison, Mackenzie Rogers, Mia Rogers, Alexis Hardy, and Zach Hardy; brother, Alec Morrison of Adrian; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home at 11 o'clock Wednesday, September 6. Burial will be in Midway Cemetery, Treutlen County.

Pallbearers will be Michael Rogers, Chad Hester, James Stewart, Ron Wilson, Josh White, and Zach Hardy.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday one hour before the funeral service.
