Mr. Doyle C. "Charlie" Clark Jr., age 45 of Soperton passed away at his home on Tuesday morning, January 2, 2018.

Funeral services will be at 3:30 pm on Saturday, January 6, 2018 in the Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Hammock and Sister June Scott, officiating. Mr. Clark will be laid to rest in Barnhill Cemetery. His family will receive friends on Saturday, at the funeral home, from 2:30 pm until the hour of the service.

Serving as pallbearers will be: Jackie McCoy, Cody Dixon, Randall Kilgore, Deric Hester, Jason Durden, Mitchell Steptoe, Matthew Teruel, Travis Beasley, Joshua Beasley and Frankie Wade.

Mr. Clark was born in Vidalia and had made his home in Toombs County until moving to Soperton in 2003. He had worked in the Floor Covering Business since the age of 17 and had been the Owner of Clark's Floor Covering for many years.

He is preceded in death by his father, Doyle Carswell Clark Sr., a sister, Kimberly Clark and a daughter, Amber Clark.

Survivors include, his wife, Janilene Hooks Clark, children, Hunter Hamock, Allissa Clark, Havin Clark, Maddison Clark, Dalanie Clark, godchildren, Kimberlyn and Layla Clark, all of Soperton, his mother, Patricia Ann Clark, Lyons, GA, a brother, Otis Clark, Lyons, GA, two sisters, Sandra Clark, Lyons, GA, Beverly Matthews, Vidalia, GA, special friends, Buddy and Bonnie Faye Paradise and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
