Christine Lynne "Christy" Watts, age 46, formerly of Soperton received her angel's wings on Sunday morning, April 25, 2021.
Born in Pahokee, Florida, she was a gifted child from birth and one of two children born to Charles Larry Watts and the late Paula Lynne Davis Watts. As an infant the family moved to Treutlen County where Christy grew up and lived until moving to her aunt's and uncle's in Sylvania in 2013.
Christy loved to paint and she enjoyed rock and roll music from the 50s and 60s and any music performed by Elvis. She had a daily schedule that included the "Wizard of Oz" and her own unique way of communicating what she wanted and what she liked and didn't like.
In addition to her mother, who passed away in October of 2013, she is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Lamar 'Pete" Davis and Laura Thigpen Davis.
She leaves behind her father, Charles Larrry Watts, Soperton, GA, aunt and uncle, Lisa and Randall Moye, Sylvania, GA, special cousins, Heidi Moye, Sylvania, GA, Joshua Moye (Tracy), Sylvania, GA, Panda Roberts (Adam), Newington, GA and Maggie, Brody and Addison, her brother, Shannon Watts, Scottsboro, AL, Aunt; Alda (Cootsie) Edge, Vidalia, GA, aunt; Dolores Ray, Port Orange, FL, uncle: Robert Watts, Greensboro, AL and many other loving extended family members and friends.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 from the graveside in Bethsaida Cemetery with her uncle, Pastor Randall Moye officiating. Christy will be laid to rest beside her mother.
Her family will receive friends on Wednesday, following the service, at the family homestead of Lamar 'Pete" and Laura Davis in Lothair.
