Mrs. Clara McKenzie Maddox, age 69, of Forest Park died Saturday, June 18, 2016.

Mrs. Maddox was born in Fulton County and was preceded in death by her parents, James and Georgia Gillis McKenzie, husband, Charles Walker Maddox, Jr., and brothers, Alton McKenzie, Fate McKenzie, and Donald McKenzie. She was employed with Life Of Georgia Insurance Company and was a member of First Baptist Church, Forest Park.

Survivors include her children, Susan Maddox and Charles "Tony" Maddox, both of Forest Park, and sisters, Opal Wall of Dublin and Georgia Mae Johnson of Hartwell.

Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home at 12 o'clock noon, Monday, June 20, with Reverend Justin Whitley officiating. Burial will be in Harmony Cemetery, Treutlen County.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the funeral service.
