Mrs. Colleen Brinson Crown, 82, of Soperton passed away Thursday, April 14, 2016.

Funeral services will be held in Boiling Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, Treutlen County, at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 17, with Mr. Thomas Yawn officiating. Sammons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Crown was born June 5, 1933 in Treutlen County and was preceded in death by her parents, Yulas and Myrtle Moseley Brinson, husband, Frank M. Crown, Jr., grandson, Anthony Dean Puccia, and brothers, Linder Brinson and Ronnie Brinson. She was a homemaker and member of Boiling Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors include her children, Charles "Tommy" Dunn of Soperton, Stephanie (Jon) Hightower of Shaker Heights, Ohio, and Mary Crown of Los Osos, California; grandchildren, Curtis Dunn, Devin Hightower, Zachary Hightower, and Mary Simmons; great-grandchildren, Mary Beth Simmons and Dean Puccia; sisters, Eleanor (Thomas) Yawn of Homerville and Lana (Bill) Hester of Collins; brother, Johnny Brinson of Thompson; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
