Mrs. Cornelia Lee Beasley, age 81, beloved wife of Ralph Beasley of the Beasley Hill Community of Soperton passed away on Friday afternoon, April 10, 2020 at the Treutlen County Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Emanuel County, she is the last living of three children born to the late Hilton and Dora Faircloth Phillips. She grew up in the Oak Park Community and in 1954 married Ralph Beasley.   While her husband worked, Mrs. Beasley kept the house and raised their two children. They have been residents of Beasley Hill since the late 1970s.

She had been a member of the Soperton Pentecostal Holiness Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Troy Phillips and her sister, Loreeder Phillips Beasley.

Mrs. Beasley leaves behind, her husband of 65 years, Ralph Beasley, their son, Terry Beasley (Abbie), their daughter, Tammie Powell (Joey) all of Soperton, grandchildren, Jessy Beasley (Jessica), Jennifer Macon (Chris), Jodi Beasley (Chana), Amy Lyles (Kyle), Matthew Powell, great grandchildren, Caleb Macon, Khloe Lyles, several nieces and nephews and numerous cousins and friends.

Private graveside services will be held.

Her family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Treutlen County Health and Rehabilitation Center for the care and compassion extended to Mrs. Beasley and her husband during her stay with them.
