Danny Lanier Wilson, 67, of Adrian passed away peacefully, under hospice care, on Friday, September 25, 2026, at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin; leaving behind a lifetime of memories, love, laughter, and countless people whose lives he touched.

Danny was raised in the Mt. Olive Church of the Nazarene, where his parents, Willie J. and Wannette Soles Wilson, made sure their children were raised in church and knew the importance of faith and family.

Danny had a truly big heart. He loved everyone and was always willing to give of himself, whether it was his time, his help, or simply making room for someone who needed it. He had a special way of taking in strays of all kinds—people and animals alike. If someone needed a place, a helping hand, or a little extra love, Danny was often there. His generosity and willingness to help others were simply part of who he was.

Danny will be remembered for his many years of hard work at Mohawk, his time as an Adrian Little League coach, his devotion to his boys, and his love for Georgia football. He was a proud dad and grandfather who loved his family deeply.

He is survived by his four sons, Andy Wilson and his wife, Claudia; Matt Wilson; Tyler Wilson; and Jamie Juarez and his wife, Shannon.

He is also survived by his brothers, Wendell Wilson and Tim Wilson.

Danny also leaves behind his grandchildren, Blakely, Brannon, Leland, and Zoey Wilson; Logan Soles and his wife, MacKenzie; Bryson Wilson; Xander, Cruz, and Zoe Juarez, along with three great-grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Willie J. Wilson and Wannette Soles Wilson.

Danny leaves behind more than a list of accomplishments. He leaves behind the memories of a man who worked hard, loved his family, helped others, coached kids, cheered for Georgia, and never seemed to mind taking in one more person—or one more animal—in need. His big heart and giving spirit will be deeply missed.
