Mr. Dennis Sharpe, age 53, beloved son of James E. Sharpe and the late Johnnie Mae Thigpen Sharpe passed away on Thursday morning, March 28, 2019.

Born in Vidalia, he had lived with his family in Toombs County until coming to Soperton in 1973.

Growing up; Dennis enjoyed spending time with his brothers and sister and family time at home.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Johnnie Mae Thigpen Sharpe and a sister, Anna Marie Sharpe.

Dennis leaves behind his father, James Sharpe, Soperton, GA, two brothers, Jimmy Sharpe, Vidalia, GA his twin brother, Donnie Sharpe, Soperton, GA, a special aunt, Louise Blair, Normantown, GA, a niece, Amber Sharpe and a nephew, Jimmy Sharpe Jr.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 30, 2019 in the Williams Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home with Sister June Scott officiating.

Dennis will be laid to rest in Harmony Cemetery.

Family members will serve as pallbearers.

His family will receive friends on Friday, at the funeral home, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.
