Mr. Dewitt "Dinky" Sellers, age 63 of Soperton passed away at his home on Monday evening, August 19, 2019.

In the year 1956, on Thursday the 26 ^th day of July; he was born in Broxton, Georgia to the late Walter Clarence "W.C." and Katie Pearl Durden Sellers. "Dinky" was one of thirteen children and the last living son in the Sellers family. He grew up in Treutlen County where he attended school before beginning work at GFF as a Machine Operator. He worked at GFF until opening and running Sellers Used Cars. He enjoyed visiting the dog track, a competitive game of cards and tinkering with old cars.

Mr. Sellers was attending Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church in Hazlehurst.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by grandparents, T. and Mattie Durden, a son, Jason Lyles Sellers, brothers, Earl Sellers, Robert "Skeeter" Sellers, Danny "Redbone" Sellers, John Henry "Babe" Sellers and sisters, Eloise Windguard, Annette Hester, Martha Willhite and Linda Johnson.

He leaves behind, his wife, Glenda Weeks Sellers, two daughters, April Nichole (Nikki) Slater (Mark), Glenwood, GA, Donna Sue Whitaker (Brian), Soperton, GA, step children, Amber Poole, Soperton, GA, Adam Poole, Soperton, GA, four sisters, Dorthy Sumner, Susie Graham, Betty Thigpen (James), Rosie Durden, all of Soperton, GA, granddaughters, Chelsea Poole, Hannah Wheeler, Makenna Slater, great grandchildren, Brooklyn Poole, Preslyn Poole, Madilyn Poole and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church with Reverend Justin Poole and Reverend Paul Beasley officiating.

Mr. Sellers will be laid to rest in Heath Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be: D.J. Sellers, Danny Earl Sellers, Cody Sellers, Michael Sellers, Jeff Rogers and Brad Sellers.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be: Chad Hester, Matthew Morris, Thomas Quin, Joey Rogers, Mitchell Steptoe, Phil Hester, Ryan Hester, Sammy Graham and Jessie Weeks.

Mr. Sellers's family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Sammons Funeral Home.
