Mrs. Dimple Curl, age 88, of Soperton died Sunday, June 5, 2016.

Mrs. Curl was born in Laurens County and was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Annie Grace Cook McMichael, husband, James L. Curl, Jr., and brother, Curtis McMichael. She was a retired beautician and was a member of Rockledge United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Jan Raiford of Soperton; grandsons, Chris Raiford of Buford and Mark Raiford of Soperton; great-grandchildren, Madison Raiford, Malaynna Raiford, Kinlee Raiford, and Tucker Raiford; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 8, with Reverend Barbara Nelson and Reverend John Powell officiating. Burial will be in Westview Cemetery, Soperton.

Pallbearers will be Josh Wood, Joey Hadley, Tony Lyles, David Chance, Winford Smith, and Gerald Thigpen.

The honorary escort will include Cecil Clonts, William Boyer, Bennie Graham, Sam Hilbun, and Jeff Raiford.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and may be reached at 10113 GA Highway 29, Soperton, GA.
