Mrs. Dorine Hutcheson, age 82 of Soperton, passed away on Thursday afternoon, July 25, 2019 at Memorial Hospital in Savannah.

Born in Montgomery County, she was the eldest of seven children born to the late Lessie Mae Johnson. She and her siblings lived in Montgomery and Tatnall County before moving to Soperton in the early 1960s.   Mrs. Hutcheson had worked for a period of time as a Seamstress at Oxford Manufacturing as well as a Machine Operator at Federal Pacific.

Mrs. Hutcheson enjoyed sewing, shopping, reading her Bible and completing word search puzzles.

She had been a member at Zaidee Advent Christian Church and Blackville Church of God.

In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Hutcheson, a brother, Alfred Norfleet and two sisters, Virginia Denmark and Francis Hall.

She leaves behind, three sons, James Norfleet (Debra), Lyons, GA, Bobby Norfleet (Donna), Lyons, GA, Lloyd Norfleet (Diane), Soperton, GA, a daughter, Barbara Campbell (Jack), Hazlehurst, GA, twin brothers, Kenneth "Muscles" Norfleet and Benneth (Benny) Norfleet, a sister, Ollie Norfleet, all of Soperton, GA, eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday, July 28, 2019 in the Williams Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home with Reverend Jimmy Steptoe officiating.

Mrs. Hutcheson will be laid to rest beside her husband in Hutcheson Cemetery.

Her family will receive friends on Saturday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
