Mrs. Doris Barnes, age 51, of Dublin died Wednesday, December 23, 2015.

Mrs. Barnes was born in Adrian and lived most of her life in Laurens County. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard F. and Betty Jean Davis Foskey, and her husband, Artis Barnes. She was retired from Mohawk Industries, East Dublin, and was of the Christian faith.

Survivors include her children, Allen (Brittany) Casey of Tennille, Angela Casey of Metter, April (Jeff) Cliett of Douglas, and Charles (Haley) Barnes of Danville; grandchildren, Joseph and Joezie Beasley, Aiden Dent, Andy, Darcie, and Arley Cliett, and Cole Casey; sisters, Carol Fulford and Dean (Jeff) Downs, all of Adrian, Louise (David) Owens of Tennille, and Kay (Jimmy) Ricks of Soperton.

Funeral services were held in Adrian New Life Church of the Nazarene at 11 a.m. Monday, December 28, with Reverend Elgin Dixon and Brother Elick Bullington officiating. Burial was in Foskey Cemetery, Adrian, with Sammons Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Dylan Logue, Matt Fulford, Caleb Fulford, Jeff Downs, Jeffrey Downs, and Jimmy Ricks.
