Mrs. Dorothy Webb Bell, age 76, of Soperton, passed away on Saturday afternoon, May 29, 2021 at the Treutlen County Health and Rehabilitation Center in Soperton.

Born in Treutlen County, she was one of seven children born to the late James Quinton Webb and Eunice Mary Lizzie Brantley Webb.  She had worked as a Seamstress at the Soperton Shirt Factory for over 20 years before moving to Columbus with her husband's job.  They returned to Treutlen County in 1985 and she worked at Wal Mart in Dublin until retiring in July of 2006.

Mrs. Bell enjoyed sewing, crafts and making things that she would sell through a craft booth at Fort Benning in Columbus.

She was a member of Midway Church.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by siblings, Jeanette Willis, Betty Westby and Sybil Hall; and an infant sister and a great grandson, Aleczavier D. Soto..

Mrs. Bell leaves behind her husband of 51 years, David Fred Bell Sr., Soperton, GA, children, Teresa L. "Lynn" Rosario (Felipe), Dublin, GA, Kevin Bell (Tammy), Soperton, GA, David F. Bell Jr. (Liesl), Pell City, AL, Kristy D. Bell, Soperton, GA, two siblings, Totsy Enlow, Eastman, GA, Charles Webb (Sula), Soperton, GA, six grandchildren, James D. Rosario, Daniella R. Rosario, Josh K. H. Bell, Nathan McCoy, Tristan McCoy and Hanlon Finney; twelve great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 in the Williams Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home with Reverend Larry W. Sauls officiating.

Mrs. Bell will be laid to rest at Midway Cemetery.

Her family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
