Mrs. Dorothy Brinson, age 82, of Tarrytown died Wednesday, March 30, 2016.

Funeral services were held in Soperton Trinity Assembly of God at 11 a.m. Friday, April 1, with Reverend M. L. Barber and Reverend Donny Crosby officiating. Burial was in Westview Cemetery, Soperton, with Sammons Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Brinson was a lifelong resident of Treutlen County and was preceded in death by her parents, J. W. and Estene Henry Barber, and her husband, Roger A. Brinson. She was a homemaker and member of Harmony Baptist Church, Treutlen County.

Survivors include her children, Gary (Celia) Brinson, Glenn (Patricia) Brinson, Patti Landers, Sandi Brinson, and Cathy Holmes, all of Tarrytown; grandchildren, Justin Brinson, Jordan Brinson, Stan (Teresa) Riner, Tayler Brinson, Andi Brinson, Nichole (Jeremy) Rogers, Cayla McCord, Morgan McCord, Jarrod Holmes, and Jacob Holmes; great-granddaughters, Ezabella Riner, Jayden Rogers, Jaylei Rogers, and Journey Rogers; sister, LaVerne Hall of Soperton; and brothers, Fred (Henrietta) Barber, M. L. (Margaret) Barber, all of Soperton, and Billy Barber of Tarrytown.

Pallbearers were grandsons, Justin Brinson, Jordan Brinson, Stan Riner, Jarrod Holmes, Jacob Holmes, and Jeremy Rogers.
