Mrs. Drucilla Edge Anderson, age 86, of Soperton died Tuesday, January 26, 2016.

Funeral services were held in the Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 28, with Reverend W. R. Connell officiating. Burial was in Harmony Cemetery, Treutlen County.

Mrs. Anderson was born in Soperton and was preceded in death by her parents, Jess and Lizzie Cauley Edge; husbands, Reverend Leon Palmer and Vaughn Anderson; daughter, Glenda Toler; grandson, Jonathan Toler; ten brothers and two sisters. She was a homemaker and attended Soperton Church of God.

Survivors include her son, Gene (Judy) Palmer of Quitman; grandchildren, Joyce Boshart, Jerry Palmer, Jody Palmer, Craig Palmer, and Christy (Marty) Meeks; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Lois Webb of McRae, Wauchula Reynolds of Tarrytown, and Merldeen (Kenny) Williamson of Kibbee; and brother, Harold (Elder) Edge of Kibbee.

Pallbearers were Dale Edge, Greg Edge, Mitchell Edge, Scotty Edge, Steve Edge and Chuck Hutcheson.
