Mrs. Ethel Sharpe Beasley, age 88, of Soperton passed away Thursday, February 15, 2018.

Mrs. Beasley was born in Treutlen County and was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Della Holton Sharpe, her husband of sixty-seven years, Reverend E. E. Beasley, a brother, Bill Sharpe, and sister, Alene Henry. She was a homemaker and a member of Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church, Treutlen County.

Survivors include her children, Kathy Slater, Reverend Paul and Michelle Beasley, all of Soperton, Michael and Judy Beasley of Glenwood, Vicki Ipock of Higgston, Tammy and Ronnie Young of Cadwell; two brothers, Romie (Vivian) Sharpe and Buddy (Velma) Sharpe, all of Lake Wales, FL; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

Services will be held in Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 17, with Reverend Ronnie Young and Reverend Johnnie Wheeler officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Sammons Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Kevin Slater, Mark Slater, Jonathan Slater, Nathan Slater, Chad Slater, Chris Young, Joey Beasley, and Jason Beasley.

The family will receive friends at Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church on Friday, February 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. and may be reached at the home of Kathy Slater, 102 Polly Flat Lane, Soperton.
