Mrs. Eunice C. Hopkins, age 102 of Soperton passed away peacefully on Monday morning, February 3, 2020 at the Treutlen Health and Rehabilitation Center in Soperton.

A native and lifelong resident of Treutlen County she had worked as a Machine Operator at Soperton Manufacturing and was a Representative for Sarah Coventry Jewelry

Mrs. Hopkins was a member of Boiling Springs Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, sewing, yardwork and tending to her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Stella Steptoe Coleman, her husband, William Alvie Hopkins, four siblings, Jack, Sam, Morris and Lucille Holton Coleman and two grandchildren, Melena Arrington and Paul Toler.

She leaves behind her two children, Virginia Hopkins Toler (Frank) and Utah Arrington, a sister, Julia Odeen Greenwood, two grandchildren, Deborah Toler (Lanny) Durden and Nickie Arrington, four great grandchildren, Lindsay, Lacey and Lance Durden, Christy Arrington Cullum and three great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 from the graveside in Westview Cemetery with Reverend Mark Sweat officiating.
