Mrs. Evie Louise Sheldon, 85, of Soperton died Monday, November 16, 2015.

Mrs. Sheldon was born in Treutlen County and lived most of her life in Tampa, FL before moving back to Soperton in 1985. She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Annie Lou NeSmith Maddox, husband, Marshall M. Sheldon, Sr., brothers and sisters. She was a homemaker and a member of Harmony Baptist Church, Treutlen County.

Survivors include her children, Betty Harris, Soperton, Donald H. (Ann) Minter, Sr. and Mary (Mike) Michel, all of Tampa, FL, Susan E. (John) Bottiger, Lutz, FL, and Brenda L. Harrison, Jacksonville, FL; eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held in the Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 21, with the Reverend Glis Cribb officiating. Burial was in Harmony Cemetery, Treutlen County.

Pallbearers were Brian Matthews, Nick Michel, Matt Michel, Mike Michel, Kevin Matthews, Jonathan Bottiger, and Jeremy Duke.
