Mrs. Frances Louise Cliett Butler, age 94 passed away on Wednesday evening, August 31, 2022 at the home of her son in Glenwood, Georgia.

Mrs. Butler was born on July 10, 1928, in Cairo, GA, to the late Marvin Cliett and Arrie Gatsie Whitaker Cliett.  On September 4, 1944, she married Aaron Butler, Jr., who preceded her in death on January 15, 2014.  She worked as a receptionist and bookkeeper in her earlier years and later was a devoted homemaker.   She was a member of the Tired Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Whigham, GA.

Survivors include: her children, Jerry Butler (Meachelle) of Glenwood, GA, Tricia Clifton (John) of Millen, GA; grandchildren, Sherrie Bachmann of Alpharetta, GA, Sylvia Welch (Tim) of Dublin, GA, Ame Elliott (Stan) of Vail, NC, Richard Broome of Vail, NC; great-grandchildren, Colby Butler, Sophia Elliott, Alex Bachmann, Bohdi Welch; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; daughter, Bonnie Jean Butler Broome; and her brother, Henry Lee Cliett.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Sunday, September 4, 2022 from the graveside in Tired Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Elder Jon Mizell officiating.

The family would extend their heartfelt gratitude for the love and care of Katie, Jessica, Lorrie, and Anna from Agape Hospice in Vidalia, GA.
