Mrs. Frances Lee McGowan Logue, age 95, entered her new life on Friday, April 29, 2016, while being cared for at Rutherford Regional Medical Center, NC.

A native of Canon, GA, Mrs. Logue was preceded in death by her parents, David and Deloma Steptoe McGowan, her husband, Elmo Logue, and two sons, Roy Wheeler and William E. Wheeler. She spent her working years in textiles and was a resident of Soperton, GA prior to moving to Rutherford County, NC where she attended Wilson Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Annette Dotson of Rutherfordton, NC; two sons, Ethen Logue and David Logue, Sr., both of Soperton, GA; twelve grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 1, at Wilson Baptist Church, Forest City, NC. Crowe's Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Additional services will be held in the Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 3, with the Reverend Donny Crosby officiating. Burial will be in the Logue Family Cemetery, Soperton.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Cowart, David A. Logue, Jr., Jesse Weeks, Jesse Weeks, Jr., Christopher Horton, and Larry Cowart.

A visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday from 6 to 8 p.m.
