Mr. Glen Edward Jordan Jr. age 52 of Soperton passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at his home.
Born in Atlanta, he was born to Glen Edward Jordan Sr. and Patsy Jean Pollette. Glen grew up in the Riverdale area of Clayton area and attended Riverdale High School. At an early age he enjoyed fixing things and working with his hands. This trait developed into him becoming a Master Mechanic; self employed for many years as well as fifteen years with Pep Boys on Jonesboro Road in South Atlanta. In the 1990s he left Atlanta and moved to Soperton.
Glen enjoyed Georgia sports, NASCAR, fishing, cooking, drawing and practicing and sharing his acrylic painting skills.
He was Baptist by faith.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Carroll and Josephine Keith as well as his maternal grandparents, Hanry Carlton Pollette and Irma Pollette.
Glen leaves behind his children, Chesney Jordan, Atlanta, GA, Cassandra Jordan, High Falls, GA, his mother, Patsy Parr (Leon "Nick"), Leesburg, GA, his father, Glen Edward Jordan Sr. (Ann), Douglasville, GA, siblings, Christie Sharpe, Soperton, GA, Nellee Jordan, Douglasville, GA, Steve Jordan (Leslie), Douglasville, GA, three grandchildren, A.J. Harper, Zaily Harper, Izzy Harper, a special niece Amber Sharpe and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 in the Williams Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home with Reverend Milton Thomas officiating.
Glen will be laid to rest in Red Bluff Cemetery.
His family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers will be: Steve Jordan, Shane Pollette, Don Pollette Jr., Brandon Pollette, Joe Blair, Caleb Watson, Jerry Maddox, Nelson Hernandez, Ryan Dobson and Chase Roddenberry
