Mrs. Gloria Dean Chamblee, age 71, wife of the late Woodrow Chamblee, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Meadows Regional Hospital in Vidalia.

Born in Jacksonville, Florida, she was one of eight children born to the late Joel Lester Trull and Ruby Dean Cox Trull.  She remained in Florida until moving to Dublin, Georgia in the late 1970s where she and her husband managed a mobile home community.  She later moved to Treutlen County before recently settling in Vidalia.

She was a member at Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church and enjoyed spending time with her family, yardwork and flower gardening.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by three daughters, Gloria Marie Smith, Tabatha "Tammy" Poole, Shelia Chamblee, siblings, Joel Lester Trull Jr., James Trull and Shirley Trull.

Mrs. Chamblee leaves behind, children: Cheryl Harrell, Vidalia, GA, Jeannie Wilkerson, Swainsboro, GA, Rachel Chamblee, Vidalia, GA, Woodrow "Woody" Calvin Chamblee (Tabitha Moye), Soperton, GA, a sister, Linda Nobles, Soperton, GA, three brothers, Marvin Trull (Kathy), Interlachen, FL, Kenneth Teruel (Mary Lou), St. Augustine, FL, Wilford Trull, GA, many grandchildren and great grandchildren and countless nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 22, 2025 in the Williams Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Beasley officiating.

Mrs. Chamblee will be laid to rest beside her husband in the Westview Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be: Larry Wilkerson, Ronnie Wilkerson, Justin Wilkerson, Brayden Wilkerson, Trey Harrell and Jaylan Chamblee.

Her family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
