Mr. Greg Soles, age 72 of Scott GA passed away on Thursday morning, Oct 16, 2025 at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin Georgia.

He was a longtime member of Mt Olive Church of the Nazarene near Wrightsville.

Born in Johnson County, he was the son of  Marie Conley (Lewis) & the late Virgil Soles (Bobbie Jean). He grew up & lived in the Scott community located in Johnson County for more than 40 years. He attended school at Adrian in his early years and East Laurens later on and eventually earned his GED. After high school, he worked in construction & was an exceptional handyman. Mr. Soles was a hardworking man all his life, and would always help anyone in any way that he could. In his off time, he loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his father,  Mr. Soles is preceded in death by his wife Kay Paulette Soles , two brothers, Stanley and Randy "Bogator" Soles  and one sister Loretta Conley.

He leaves behind his son, Mark Soles, Scott GA, two daughters Kristy Stone (Jeff), Cochran GA, Brooke Dowling (Chris) East Dublin, Ga and his beloved grandsons, Bubba, Joey, Anthony, Channan, Camden, Luke and granddaughters, Nikki, Jayci, Emily, Andrea and great grandchildren, Kayden, Emma, Brycen, Boone, Delilah and Hatlee, a brother, Roger Soles (Shirley) of Scott, Ga. and sisters Ann Hood (Robert) of Kite, Ga, Connie Carter (Carl) of Wrightsville, Lisa Hooks (Steve) of Swainsboro, Ga, Roxanne Gay (Jay) of Twin City, Ga and Becky Turfler (Kris) of Rentz, Ga, and several nieces, nephews and cousins that he loved very much.

Visitation will be at 12pm and Funeral services will be at 2pm at Mt Olive Church of the Nazarene in Scott on Monday, October 20th, 2025 , with Reverends LT Logue & Jimmy Wright officiating. Mr. Soles will be laid to rest in the church cemetery.

Serving as pall bearers will be: Mike Soles, Vince Clements, Vince Price, Kenny Wilcher, Jimmy Garnto & Joey Stone.

The family asks that food donations be received in the Family Life Center at Mt Olive, where a meal for the family will be served immediately after the service.
