Mrs. Helen Clements Adams, age 73, formerly of Soperton, passed away on Saturday afternoon, December 16, 2017 at her home in Stockbridge, Georgia.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Monday, December 18, 2017 in the Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home, Soperton, Georgia with her nephew, Freddy Harrell, officiating.

Mrs. Adams will be laid to rest in Rosemont Cemetery, Soperton, Georgia.

Her family will receive friends on Monday, at the funeral home, from 1:00 pm until the hour of the service.

She grew up in Soperton and had made her home in the Atlanta area for over the past 50 years.

She and her family had attended Rosemont Church in Soperton.

Mrs. Adams is preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Beatrice Livingston Clements, two brothers, Walter and Carlton Clements, a sister, Martha Clements, and a son, Kevin who passed away in 2012.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Jimmy Adams, Stockbridge, GA, a daughter, Cindy Driskell and her husband, Paul, Jefferson, GA, two sons, Walter "Bodie" Adams and his wife, Karen, Temple, GA, Preston Adams, Jacksonville, FL, two brothers, Stanley Clements, Marion, AK, Keith Clements, Soperton, GA, a sister, Evie Jo Harrell, Soperton, GA, eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be: Sonny, Jimmy Ray, Michael and Keith Clements as well as James Herndon and Wayne Foster.

Grandsons, Hayden and Jacob Adams will serve as honorary pallbearers.
