Mrs. Helen McFee, age 84, of Soperton died Sunday, January 31, 2016.

Funeral services were held in the Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 3, with Sister June Scott officiating. Burial was in Westview Cemetery, Soperton.

Mrs. McFee was born in Columbia, SC, and was preceded in death by her parents, Nicholas and Bertha Beasley Coleman; husbands, William Snow, Samuel Horton, Jr., and Bill McFee; and brothers, Nicholas Coleman and Daniel Coleman. She was a retired nurse and a homemaker and attended Faith Pentecostal Holiness Church, Treutlen County.

Survivors include her children, Barbara Morris of Tarrytown, Linda (Randy) Hutcheson of Soperton, and Samuel Horton of Columbus; grandchildren, Deanna Lyles, Jeanna Morris, Wayne Hutcheson, and Randall Hutcheson; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Pearl Byrd, Jeanette King, Clarsia Gillis, Margaret Coleman, and Carolyn Coleman, all of Vidalia, and Ellen Cauley of Soperton; and brothers, Sterling Coleman of Vidalia and William Coleman of Nokomis, FL.

Pallbearers were Chris Hayes, Blake Hutcheson, Randall Hutcheson, Randon Hutcheson, Wayne Hutcheson, and Chris Lyles.
