Mr. Howard E. Lloyd, age 80 of Adrian, passed away on Thursday evening, April 26, 2018 at his home.

Funeral services will be at 4:00 pm on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at the Mt. Olive Church of the Nazarene, Wrightsville, GA with Reverend Timothy W. Tharp, officiating.

Mr. Lloyd will be laid to rest in Mt. Olive Cemetery.  Full military honors will be accorded by the Unites States Air Force Honor Guard, Warner Robins AFB, Warner Robins, Georgia.

His family will receive friends on Sunday, at the church, from, 2:30 pm until the hour of the service.

Mr. Lloyd was born in Sanford, FL, the only child of Ellis and Elma Cochran Lloyd. He grew up in Lake Mary and was a graduate of Sanford High School. After high school he enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served as an Equipment Cooling Specialist until retiring. Upon being honorably discharged from the military he returned home to Sanford, FL where he lived until moving to the Adrian / Scott area in 1998.

Mr. Lloyd enjoyed fishing, hunting, growing tomatoes, traveling and above all else; socializing. He had a heart for the youth of his church, was a thoughtful man with a quiet and generous giving spirit. He and his wife have been longtime members at Mt. Olive Church of the Nazarene in Wrightsville.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years Jeannine Sharp Lloyd, Adrian, GA, children, Pamela DeLong (William), Clinton, SC, Angela Sikes (Lance), Vidalia, GA, Brian Lloyd, Anchorage, Alaska, Matthew Lloyd, Adrian, GA, ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
