Miss Imogene "Cookie"  Stewart, age 71, daughter of the late Doyle Elmo Stewart and Izona Claxton Stewart passed away on Wednesday morning, March 19, 2025 at Fairview Park Hospital.

Born in Vidalia, she was one of three children in the family.  She was a lifelong resident and graduate of Treutlen County High School, Class of 1973.  She had worked at Soperton Manufacturing for twenty two years and Easter Seals for an additional four years.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Henry Stewart and D. L. Stewart.

She leaves behind, a sister in law, Linda Stewart, Dublin, GA, nephews, Jody Stewart, Dublin, GA,  Rusty Stewart (Kara), Soperton, GA and a niece, Sage Stewart.

Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 pm on Sunday, March 23, 2025 in the Williams Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home with Reverend Milton Thomas, officiating.

She will be laid to rest beside her father in the Holton Chapel Cemetery.

Her family will receive friends on Sunday from 3:00 pm until the hour of service.
