Mr. Jack C. Barwick, Sr. age 81, of St. Marys, GA died Monday, December 19, 2016.

Mr. Barwick was born and raised in Treutlen County.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin Barwick, Sr. and Lillian Miller Barwick, and two brothers, Marvin Barwick, Jr., and Archie P. Barwick.  He was the owner and operator of Jack's Marina for thirty years and also Jack Barwick Construction.  He was a member of Lothair United Methodist Church, Treutlen County.

Survivors include his wife of forty-four years, Gail Morris Barwick, a son Jack C. "Curt" Barwick, Jr. and wife, Paige, of St. Marys, and two grandchildren, Olivia and Luke Barwick, also of St. Marys.

Graveside services will be held in Fowler Cemetery, Treutlen County at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 22, with Pastor Steve Kegley officiating.  There will be no visitation.

An additional memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church, St. Marys, at 3 p.m. Friday, December 23.  The family will receive friends at the church one hour before services.
