Mr. Jack Edward Willis, age 73 of Soperton passed away on Friday evening, June 12, 2026 at the Treutlen County Health and Rehabilitation Center in Soperton.

Affectionately known as "Blue" he was a native and lifelong resident of Soperton, and the youngest and last living of three children born to the late Ben Willis and Daisy Poole Willlis.  After graduating from Treutlen County High School, Jack began a long career as a Crane Operator through Local # 473 in Atlanta.  He traveled and worked many shutdowns, startups and refits through his thirty year career, but Soperton was always home.  During his years as a Crane Operator, he also owned several semi tractor trailers and drove "over the road" and local as mill and power plant work would allow.

Jack enjoyed fishing and arrow head hunting on the sandbars and along the shoreline of the Ohoopee River.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Anna Marie Johnson Willis, who passed away on January 31, 2014 and his siblings, Patsy Warnock and Gary Willis.

Mr. Willis leaves behind: children, Harley Bolin, Jacksonville, FL, Amanda Spore Bolin, Mt. Vernon, GA, Chris Spore, Soperton, GA, Abigail Bolin, Soperton, GA, his close friend and caregiver, Christie Dobson, Soperton, GA, nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Willis will be laid to rest in the Mt. Zion Church Cemetery, near Norristown.
