Mrs. Jackie K. Warnock, age 75, of Soperton died Thursday, November 10, 2016.
Mrs. Warnock was born in Toombs County and was preceded in death by her parents, Baldie and Mildred Falls King, and her brothers, Kenneth King and John Ellis King. She was a school teacher and was retired from J. R. Trippe Middle School, Vidalia. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Soperton, where she had taught Sunday School for many years, and was a member of the Helen Perry Sunday School Class.
Survivors include her husband of fifty-eight years, Garland Warnock; children, Julie (Kevin) Ross of Lizella, Jonathan G. (Rita) Warnock of Swainsboro, Denise Warnock of Soperton, and David R. (Teri) Warnock of Jesup; grandchildren, Sumner (Kris) Miller, Tyler (Megan) Ross, Scott Warnock, Ana (Mars) Daughtry, Kristopher Warnock, Dakota Warnock, and MeKylee Warnock; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Vickie (Frank) Duque, and Darlene (Steve) Swearingen; brothers, Hunter F. King, Mitchell (Deborah) King, and George King; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held in First Baptist Church, Soperton, at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 12. Sammons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
