Mr. James Edward Lawrence, age 61, of Loganville died Friday, August 11, 2017.

Mr. Lawrence was born in Auburndale, FL and was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe Lawrence, Sr. and Thelma Norris Lawrence, sister, Linda Sue Allen, and brother, John Mitchell Norris.  He was a veteran and had served in the National Guard. He was a former employee of General Fibers and Fabrics, Soperton, and had attended Soperton Trinity Assembly of God.

Survivors include his sister, Vickie (Jackie) McCumbers of Soperton; brothers, Ronnie (Mildred) Lawrence of Lyons and Roscoe Lawrence, Jr. of Jesup; and several nieces and nephews.

Burial was in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Milledgeville, at 11 o'clock Tuesday, August 22, 2017.  Sammons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
