Mrs. Jeanette Barwick, age 80, of Soperton died Tuesday, August 23, 2016.

Graveside services will be held in Fowler Cemetery, Treutlen County, at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 25, with Reverend Bill Lee officiating. Sammons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Barwick was born in Wheeler County and lived most of her life in Treutlen County. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruffus and Shelma Elliott, husband, Marvin C. Barwick, Jr., son, John Barwick, and sister, Johnnie Bell Lloyd. She was a homemaker and was a member of Lothair United Methodist Church, Treutlen County.

Survivors include her children, Chris (Danielle) Barwick and George (Jan) Barwick, all of Soperton, Beth (Ken) Warnock and Susan (Lee) Duggan, all of Dublin, Mary (Jack) Barfield, Charles Barwick, and Kim (Vickie) Barwick, all of St. Marys, and Nancy (Raymond) Richardson of Brunswick; twenty grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; and brothers, Cuin Elliott of Macon and Irvin Elliott of Bradenton, FL.

A visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
