Mr. Jesse Hart Lawhon, age 36 of East Dublin passed away on Monday evening, January 13, 2020 at his home.

Born in Dublin, he is one of three children born to Don and Robin Powell Lawhon. Jesse attended Soperton High School before moving to Alabama and serving in the National Guard.  He was a free spirited, open minded and caring individual that would often give away his material possessions to others that might have a greater need than would he. He was an incredible chef and enjoyed shooting skeet and snow skiing.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Earl H. and Carolyn Barrow Lawhon and his maternal grandparents, Horace Lee and Pernette Morris Powell.

Jesse leaves behind his parents, Don and Robin Lawhon, East Dublin, GA, his brother, Reese Lawhon (Rachael), Lexington, NC, his sister, Kristin Soles (Stanley), Dublin, GA and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other loving family members.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 pm on Friday, January 17, 2020 in the Williams Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home.

His family will receive friends on Friday, at the funeral home, from 2:00 pm until the hour of the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials contributions may be made to his family.
