Mrs. Joan Lord Jackson Hall, age 75 of Vidalia passed away on Tuesday morning, July 6, 2021 at Meadows Regional Hospital in Vidalia.

Born in Jenkins County, she was one of four children born to the late William Robert "W.R.", "Dick" Lord and Robbie Lee Rigdon Lord.  She grew up in Treutlen County and in the 1960s worked at Roydonwear.  In the early 1990s she began working as a CNA at the Treutlen Health and Rehabilitation Center, from  where she retired in 2012.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by siblings, Gail Monroe, Robert "Danny" Ruis, a son, Jimmy Randall Jackson, a daughter, Teresa Carolyn Jackson and a grand daughter, Bridgette Vessell.

She leaves behind a son, Paul Jackson (Alex), Vidalia, GA, her last living sibling: brother, Richard Lord (Bernice), Dublin, GA, grandchildren, Rayburn Jackson, Courtney Vessell, Brent Jackson, Delacy Jackson, great grandchildren, Haizley, R.J., Robert and Brennan as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday, July 9, 2021 from the graveside in Westview Cemetery as she is laid to rest in the Lord Family lot.  Reverend Milton Thomas will officiate.

Her family will receive friends on Friday at the graveside.
