Mr. John H. "Babe" Sellers, age 58, of East Dublin died Monday, August 21, 2017.

Mr. Sellers was born in Broxton, GA and was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Clarence Sellers and Katie Pearl Durden Sellers; his sisters, Eloise Wingard, Annette Hester, Danny Sellers, Robert "Skeeter" Sellers, and Earl Sellers; and sister, Martha Willhite.  He was self-employed and was a member of Mount Vernon Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include his wife, Sherrie Price Sellers; son, John Michael (Julie) Sellers of East Dublin; grandchildren, Jossie Sellers, Kassie Sellers, Kaylee Sellers, Dusty Hammock, and Shane Poole; sisters, Dorothy Sumner, Rosie Durden, Susie Graham, Betty (James) Thigpen, and Linda Johnson, all of Soperton; brother, Dinky (Glenda) Sellers of Soperton; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held in Mount Vernon Pentecostal Church at 2 o'clock Wednesday, August 23, with Reverend Ray Wood officiating.  Burial will be in Sellers Family Cemetery, Laurens County, with Sammons Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Larry "Hippy" Barrow, Marty Keene, Keith Clements, Clifton Flanders, Shane Poole, Dusty Hammock, Glenn Needer, Dennis McConnell, Phil Hester, Chad Hester, and Curt Poole.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and may be reached at the family residence.
