Mr. John Johnson, age 62, of Adrian died Friday, September 22, 2017.

Mr. Johnson was born in Omaha, Nebraska and was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Johnson, Sr. and Mildred Johnson Braddy, son, Shannon Lee Johnson, and sister, Anna Willis.  He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and was a retired pipefitter and welder.  He was a member of Poplar Springs United Methodist Church, Adrian.

Survivors include his wife of forty-three years, Charlie Mae McDaniel Johnson; daughter and son-in-law, Shawn and Wade Webb of Adrian; grandchildren, Whitney Webb and J. D. Webb; sister, Connie Moye (John Sammons) of Soperton; brother, Donnie (Donna) Palmer of Vidalia; brother-in-law, Jack Willis of Soperton; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held in Poplar Springs United Methodist Church at 3 o'clock Monday, September 25, with Reverend Mark Hardin officiating.  Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Norristown. Sammons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be John Webb, Tommy Webb, Todd Webb, Roy Marcin, Gene Green, and Ronnie Brantley.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and may be reached at the home of Wade and Shawn Webb, 226 Georgia Highway 86, Adrian, GA  31002.
